About the school age in OJS

OJS provides the programs what match the Japanese school ages.  Depending on the students' Japanese skills, they can join the class that doesn't match their school age, if allowed by the school administration.  Also students can repeat the same class once more.  For example, if a 10 year old student couldn't read/write Japanese, s/he might be recommended to join the Elementary School 1st Grade.  All of these arrangement are quite common and the best way to ensure a student to be enrolled in the proper class.

Steps for Admission

*JSL students will not have an interview.  After two-week free trial period, the principal and class teacher will have an evaluation meeting.
